Pumpkin choc. chip cookies sound great!

So, I bought a bunch of pumpkin when it was on sale a No Frills for .68 and have been searching for ideas to use it up and these sound YUMMY!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

(makes 2 dozen cookies)
1 cup Pumpkin
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup Canola Oil
1 Egg
2 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Milk
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts (optional)

Mix together in a large bowl pumpkin, sugar, oil, vanilla and egg. In another bowl mix together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon and salt. In a small bowl, mix together baking soda and milk and then add to the pumpkin mixture. Slowly add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture. Add the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop spoonfuls of dough on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
